OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strengthen the bond between the Northern Liberties community, including residents, businesses, developers, and politicians, and Kearny Elementary School. We aim to support students, parents, teachers, and staff as they work to create a safe and academically rigorous environment for all children who attend Kearny. Kearny Friends is a dedicated and cooperative partner of the Kearny Home and School Association and the Kearny principal, Sabrina Scott-Feggins.
WHO ARE KEARNY FRIENDS?
Founded in June 2014, we are a group of Northern Liberties parents and community members committed to partnering with the students, teachers, and staff at our neighborhood public school, Kearny Elementary. We all believe in the importance of public education and want to see our community fully engaged at Kearny.
